A “short” time ago only companies used the web to advertise their services, while home users simply used the mail, newsgroups and IRC. Internet became popular, and everybody was able to publish his own web page. Internet evolved (and is still evolving, of course), and “social” services appeared: places where to share your phtographs, or your oppinions, or any idea that can be written, with anybody interested on it.

Now, there is a place where all these social tools can be found together.

I’m talking about Lynksee. Why I am doing it? Because I like it’s idea: use free software to help people to share their knowledge and experiences. I trust they will not use it for profit .At least, no profit at the cost of users privacy/money/anything. If they want to inclide some ads it’s ok, I have it even in my ugly web :P.

So, if you’re looking for a site to host your blog or your geek forum, to show your holiday’s photos to your friends, or use a wiki for some academical purpose*, try it.
