Free Software

This page is a repository of all the software I develop, and as a supporter of Free Software, I want to share. Part of this software has been developed on the research centre where I am doing my thesis, but at the moment we don't have any place to put it.

• S2000 Hyperspectrometer: A library and a GUI, both in python, to control de S2000 spectrometer from Ocean Optics.
• Central Arachne Database: CAD is an army lists builder for the wargame Infinity. Made with python, multiplatform (Linux, Windows and MacOS). I did it because at that moment the only alternatives where a flash web page or a Java program that misteriously only runs on Windows (O_o), and furthermore is not open source. This project was very useful to me to learn _a lot_ of python and wxPython, but it is currently abandoned because:
  • At the moment I'm not playing to Ininifity. Too many hobbies, not much time :P
  • It didn't have a good receivement among the community, eEverybody was happy with the closed source and Windows-only program. So, if nobody is going to use it (myself included), it doesn't need my time.
