Free web services using free software

Blogs, wikis, forums, photo galleries... this kind of webs, driven by a single person (or a reduced number of people) is increasing their numbers. A "short" time ago only companies used the web to advertise their services, while home users simply used the mail, newsgroups and IRC. Internet became popular, and everybody was able to publish his own web page. Internet evolved (and is still evolving, of course), and "social" services appeared: places where to share your phtographs, or your oppinions, or any idea that can be written, with anybody interested on it.
